Yesterday, India's No 1 telecom player Airtel has partnered with Karbonn Mobiles to sell 4G smartphone at an effective price of Rs 1,399, undercutting Jio's 4G featurephone priced at Rs 1,500, through an initiative called "Mera Pehla 4G Smartphone".

Mukesh Ambani driven Reliance Jio has come up with 100% cashback offer on the occasion of Diwali.

The company has planned a revision of its tariffs from October 19, therefore users recharging in the festive period between October 12 to October 18 will enjoy the current tariff benefits. However, for the postpaid users, all facilities will be the same but only validity will be changed as three months billing cycle.

The cash back will be in be form of eight Rs 50 vouchers and applicable to everyone taking the Rs 399 recharge in the period.

These can be redeemed for future recharges of Rs. 309 or above and add-ons of Rs. 91 or above.

For instance, if you exhaust the Rs. 399 Diwali pack and go for new pack of Rs. 309, you just have to pay just 259, while the Rs. 50 will be added via the voucher during payment (debit/credit/net banking/other means). The Jio users need to keep in mind that the issued vouchers can be redeemed after November 15.

The offer will be available for those customers also whose validity still remains.

It's a little tricky, but the new Reliance Jio Rs 399 Diwali edition Dhan Dhana Dhan is totally worth it.
