Police say a woman made up a story about being raped in a Bucks County park. She told police they took her to another area in the state park surrounding the lake and sexually assaulted her there.

Anyone with information about these men or who may have witnessed something is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin at 215-249-9191.

State police first notified the public about the report Wednesday after a woman said she was forced into a auto by two men Monday while she was at the park's fishing pier sometime between 5 and 7 p.m.

The woman described her alleged attackers as white men between the ages of 20 and 25, police said, and gave detailed descriptions of their height, clothing and hair color.

It was not clear if state police intend to file any charges against the woman for making a false report.

Her story was fabricated, according to police, and there was no "immediate threat" to the public. The statement said the investigation is continuing.
