The network made the announcement hours later.

After adding the popular Katie Nolan from FOX Sports, the Worldwide Leader is now reportedly looking to add a pair of Barstool Sports personalities. She will debut October 16. That's the joke Nolan's making, since the release mentions that "announcements regarding her specific assignments are forthcoming". The network announced October 4 that Nolan will join ESPN beginning October 16 and "will appear across multiple platforms and in a variety of projects", according to a press release issued by the network.

Said Nolan: "I could not be more excited to have a prominent digital presence while also making appearances across ESPN studio programming". At the time, the question was whether or not FS1 would bring back the show in a different format, build another showcase for Nolan or even find a different role for her across the network's platform of studio programming. The terms haven't been revealed, but with Nolan just sitting on the sidelines while FS1 apparently had no plans for her, perhaps she was simply allowed to leave.

"My understanding and my sources, which I believe, tell me that she was asked to be part of the Mike Greenberg show and she declined to be a permanent fixture on that", Miller said on The World's Fastest-Growing Media Podcast.

In spring 2018, the network will unveil a new morning show headlined by soon-to-be erstwhile Mike & Mike co-host Mike Greenberg.
