Guardiola said: 'Chelsea won 13 games in a row last season.

After a chastening first season at City, Guardiola spent big on new signings before the new campaign.

And the former Barcelona boss is clear on what it will take to remain in charge.

"We will be judged on how many titles we win - if not we will be a failure, we know that".

"I do not know what is going to happen in the future".

"We have the feeling now that we are going to score a goal".

"I am happy to be here but it depends on the success we will have. Big clubs like Manchester City, if you don't win, you don't stay".

City are top of the Premier League on goal difference from Man Utd, having scored four goals more.

Conte topped Guardiola last season by lifting the Premier League crown, but the Italian admits that he is strongly influenced by his opposite number's work as they prepare to face off this weekend.

"In the past, last season, we did not have that. We created a lot and we didn't score goals and that was so tough".
