Somewhat alarmingly, it was found that phones on iOS 11 ran through a fully-charged battery in just 96 minutes, compared to an average of 240 minutes with iOS 10. Also, new updates are yet to come in iOS 11 which is why it is recommended to skip the iOS for the time being.

The researcher published the exploit code today after Apple released security updates for iOS last week. For iOS 11 users, the new Files app lets users browse files stored on the device and on Dropbox - all in one place.

While the Apple's latest OS upgrade is certainly packed with new feature (including quite a few secret ones), the past week saw a sudden surge of bug reports, particularly in the area of application compatibility with the recent iOS build.

So what's the deal with the battery life?

You can get the iOS 11.0.1 update, which is roughly 275 MB, in Settings General Software Update or via iTunes.

A quick Google search turns up a slew of different guides and questionnaires about iOS 11 battery life, ranging from how-to improve iOS 11 battery life to speculation about what's causing the battery problems.

First, you'll need to have downloaded iOS 11.

While we usually understand putting off playing with new features, this is one that every single person should set up right now.
