A major fire broke out today in a house where illegal fire crackers were stored in a village at Ghatsila in Jharkhand, killing at least one person and severely injuring two others, police said.

Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot to control the fire that broke out following the blast, reports news agency ANI. A large number of firecrackers were reportedly being manufactured and stored in the house. The house in which the illegal cracker manufacturing was being run belonged to one Durga Satara who was involved in this illegal business.
