Niantic, the developer and publisher of Pokemon Go has announced that Raikou, Suicune, and Entei Legendary Pokemon are added to the game. The limited-time trio will rotate around the world, staying in their respective regions for up to a month before moving on.

Beginning today through September 30th, players can find electric-type Raikou throughout the Americas; fire-type Entei around Europe and Africa; and water-type Suicune in the Asia-Pacific region. After that, it'll swap once more to the last remaining region on October 31, 2017.

Just as Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia cycle out of Pokemon Go this week, three new Legendary Pokemon will take their place. They will be removed from the game after August 31 to make way for the Legendary dogs. The Legendary Pokemon will be available for the duration of next month and two more will come after that.

But there is one significant change for the three new Legendary Pokemon.

Previously, you had to spend a Raid Pass - an item provided for free once per day, then purchased from the in-game shop after that - without knowing if other players were available first. With the new feature, a player can instantly check into a particular Raid lobby and see if the size of the Raid Group is large enough to beat.

Earlier this month, Pokemon GO revealed Exclusive Raid Battles. Niantic will be looking to test any fixes and solutions for that as EX Raid Battle field testing continues.

So, this new system implies that the fans will only be able to have an invite if they've previously defeated in a Raid battle and the same gym.
