Samsung is done launching both of its flagships for 2017. At an event on August 23, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 8, however, the details of availability were revealed only for select markets.

With 6 months to go, XDA Developers has obtained a bunch of new information about the smartphone. The most disappointing rumor has the Galaxy S9 carrying 4GB of RAM. Besides this, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is likely to have a almost same display as its predecessor. 64GB of native storage will be once again found on the base model of the Galaxy S9. This means its display will offer QHD+ resolution with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and curved edges.

"Galaxy Note 8 can implement high brightness, ideal black screen, and infinite contrast range and is the best Smartphone to enjoy high-quality movies or computer graphics as it satisfies even DCI-P3 (Digital Cinema Initiative), which is the worldwide color standard for latest digital cinemas." said DigitalMate. Speaking of the camera, the Galaxy S9 could end up with the same dual-camera setup on back that is now seen on the Galaxy Note 8. Now don't think that Samsung simply ignored everyone, for if this source is correct, the company is moving the heavily criticized location of the fingerprint scanner. Other features includes a dual 12MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,300 MAh battery, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE, it features an iris scanner, facial recognition, fingerprint scanner and Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system. Chances are, we will get to see an under-screen fingerprint sensor on the Samsung Galaxy S9.
