When powered off, the Always-on Display is even more customizable than before. Separately, the company has announced that the upcoming V series flagship will come with more personalisation options for users and revealed what will happen to the secondary display with the launch of V30. Well, it's apparently... an always-on display. "The AOD now not only shows the clock, it can also be set to display Quick Tools, Music Player or a personal photograph as well", LG said in its release. But that's not all! When you're not using it, you can drag the Floating Bar off screen. This feature works even if the phone's display is off. LG is touting the V30's Voice Recognition feature, too, which uses Qualcomm's Aqstic low-power voice tech, your voice, and self-generated keywords. However, now the company has confirmed that the lack of secondary display will be compensated by the presence of a floating bar.

Therefore, LG wants to make sure that the successor to the V20 will build on the new formula laid by this year's G6 and keep themselves competitive in the world of flagship smartphones. Included with the LG V30's manual mode is Graphy, which lets you view and download professional photos and apply the metadata presets like white balance, shutter speed, and ISO to photos taken with the V30.

Optimized for use with LG's 18:9 OLED FullVision display, the new UI sports a beautifully minimalistic design, with clean, rounded icons and simple yet attractive graphics and fonts. LG V30 has now been tipped to be launched in two variants - regular and Plus.

LG also improves the Camera Software capability with a new feature named Graphy which would be a helpful feature for any smartphone paparazzo.

It also offers different shooting modes such as auto, grid shot, snap shot and match shot are conveniently grouped under one menu for ease of selection.

GIFs - Create animated GIFs from the Gallery menu, and create movies from photo or video files. To unlock the device using voice recognition, you don't need to press a button or swipe the screen, all you have to do is say the custom word that you have set (ideally three to five syllables combined).

The V30 will feature a F1.6 camera lens, which will be 25 percent brighter than the F1.8 lens adopted by its predecessor, the LG V20.
