Lauren and her husband, William Tell, became parents on July 5. Conrad said that Baby Liam looks more like his father, Conrad's husband, William Tell, than he does her.

Although Lauren Conrad hasn't yet shared any of her personal photos on social media, she recently took part in a photo shoot with People Magazine, and she and Liam are featured on the cover of the latest issue.

Liam, who Conrad says looks like "sort of a combo of both of us", was born weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces, but the 31-year-old was expecting something different entirely.

"I was feeling great, and I didn't think the baby was going to come, so I made a decision to go ahead with the party", Conrad, 31, told People for its new issue, on newsstands Friday.

'We considered doing the 4D ultrasound but then chose to wait. "I think it's best not to be outnumbered". "Boys are so fun. My mom always told me that nobody loves you like a son does, especially when he's young". This interview is the first time Conrad has spoken out about motherhood or shared pics of her son for fans to see. "We'll probably have two".

"I've never really had boobs before, so I'm going to try these out for a little bit!" she said. "I knew I wanted to have a family with him". "Liam is such a good baby. And I'm such a Disney nerd, so I get to watch those movies with someone who is seeing them for the first time".

But as excited as she was to find out the couple was having a boy, Conrad wasn't always sure she wanted to be a mom. "But after meeting William, I changed my mind", she said. "For us it makes you officially family, which is really great, but as far as our relationship, we were really committed before, so it didn't change a ton. But I didn't want to do it right away".

Looking ahead, Conrad has an important expectation for her son-and all her children.

At the end of the day, Conrad knows exactly what kind of mom she wants to be.

'But he's still so tiny it's hard to tell!' she added. "I was looking at him the other day, and I was like, 'I understand now why people keep having babies!'" Conrad beamed. In fact, at one point in her life she considered the possibility of not having kids. I'm already stressing out because I want him to stay this tiny and I know he won't.
