The actress was at the event to promote TBS's upcoming series The Last O.G., alongside her costars Cedric the Entertainer and Tracy Morgan.

Despite her stellar and genuinely hilarious performance in the clip, her mouth has got the better of her in recent interviews and her Bill Cosby "joke" has gone down like a lead balloon. And while most of us crack up laughing as soon as Haddish opens her mouth and starts talking, when the 39-year-old expressed interest in still working with Bill Cosby, a lot of people's laugh track went silent. I don't care, I'll drink the juice.

"What I said was a joke", she said, noting that when you're expected to be amusing in promotional interviews, there are risks. "I'll take a nap", Haddish said. "I don't give a damn", she said.

Haddish told reporters Thursday that she made the remarks during a day of interviews and was trying to be amusing while reflecting a fearless approach to her work. She stated "I'll drink the juice. IDC".

Appearing today at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, Haddish was asked if her comments were indeed a joke, or reflected her true feelings.

"In every interview you have to be humorous because you're considered a comedian, right?" You go through about 27 interviews and you're supposed to be humorous-sometimes you are going to make bad jokes'. "I've been victimized", she added. "I'm not afraid of any kind of job, I'm not afraid to play any kind of role, as long as it doesn't compromise my morals", Haddish explained according to Variety.
