Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes that his club have got themselves a top striker in Romelu Lukaku, however he adds that the Belgian global still needs to prove himself at the highest level.

Romelu Lukaku has recently made the switch from Everton to United, but Mirallas believes his Belgium teammate may have made the wrong decision in leaving Goodison Park for Old Trafford.

With title-winners Pablo Zabaleta, on a free, and Joe Hart, on loan, through the door, a deal for former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez will be completed next week.

"Next season, six teams, and also Everton, are going to play in Europe and that is going to create a new situation for Chelsea and Liverpool", Mourinho added, apparently having forgotten the word "seven".

When Paul Pogba flipped a precise pass onto Romelu Lukaku's path, out rushed the 23-year-old.

He said: "Names is hard for me because the players belong to clubs, the players are in their seasons, the managers, the owners are not happy if you speak about them, the same as me".

Darmian struggled to fulfil expectations in his first season and took his time to win over Jose Mourinho last term, eventually returning from the cold towards the end of the campaign.

"It was a very good training session".

Morata's passing accuracy of 78.8 per cent - and 73.3 per cent in the opposition half - compared to Lukaku's 65.5 per cent and 60.4 per cent shows the Spaniard as a more effective link-up player while rivalling Lukaku's finishing ability.

He played in the Europa League for Anderlecht in 2010/11 and Everton in 2014/15 - netting eight goals in the competition in his career. If we manage to get one more player - and I'm not even crying for two - [I want that] as soon as possible.

The former Holland global was talking about the Belgian with the club's official website, and stated that he sees the 24 year old performing well if he overcomes the mental pressure associated with playing for such an illustrious club.

Though self-belief will ultimately determine whether the striker can live up to his price tag, it must be heartening when legends gone by of the club you've just joined have placed their own faith in you.

"The other thing is that he has a lot of experience to help the young players".
