Bills DE Adolphus Washington arrested Sunday on weapons charges

Adolphus Washington, a defensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills, was arrested on a weapons charge in Sharonville, according to a police report.

Adolphus Washington, 24, is accused of improperly carrying a concealed weapon outside the Splash Water Park on Chester Road, documents show. They also said that they will not comment any further on the incident, via ESPN's Mike Rodak.

Washington, a third-round draft pick out of Ohio State in 2016, has reportedly been arrested in his home state on a gun charge.

The arrest happened as officers were clearing out a crowd in the water park parking lot around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Washington was released later Sunday night by police.

This isn't Washington's first run-in with law enforcement. According to 7 Eyewitness News in Buffalo, he attempted to solicit a prostitute in a Columbus hotel room back in December 2015. Police said he replied to an online ad for an escort that was placed by police, agreeing to pay the undercover vice officer $100 for sex. Washington was suspended for Ohio State's bowl game against Notre Dame. He recorded 21 total tackles and 2.5 sacks.
