Dead, at Least 6 Injured in Ohio Gender Reveal Party Shooting

One person was killed and at least six others, including three children, were hurt after a shooting at a gender reveal party in southwestern OH on Saturday night, according to the Colerain Township Police Department.

The shooting happened in the overnight hours at a home in the 9900 block of Capstan Drive. Eastern at a residence near Northgate Mall. One is critical, three are in fair condition and one is stable, the hospital told WLWT.

A mass shooting near Cincinnati has left one person dead and several others - including children - injured.

Police radio logs indicate there might have been two shooters. One person died from their injuries.

Love told Johnson the police responded quickly.

The partygoers were watching a movie when gunfire rang out, police said.

Colerain Township Police requested Cincinnati Police crime scene investigators help them process the scene of the shooting.

'You're hoping that there won't be situations like this, ' Jim Love, public information officer for Colerain Township Police, told WCPO. "We were out here pretty quick", Love said.

There is no name nor description of the suspect, Love said, adding that a motive is unknown. "These are the nights that you look back on and you regret that they ever happened".

No other details have been released.
