Two children among three people killed in Mississauga crash

Three people are dead, including two children, and three people are injured after a two-car crash in Mississauga late Sunday, Peel Regional Police say.

An adult was also pronounced dead.

Three other people were taken hospital, however, there was no immediate word on their conditions. A four-year-old and a 12-year-old died in hospital.

The driver of the Mercedes suffered minor injuries. Police have not released information on the driver's age or gender.

Const. Bancroft Wright said investigators are looking to speak with witnesses or anyone who was using a dashboard camera.

The crash occurred near a popular movie theatre and restaurant complex. "We hope if anyone did see anything, they will contact police or Crime Stoppers".

Winston Churchill Blvd. was closed for a few hours as police investigated the cause of the crash.
