But the odd "conspiromance" between the two programmers and the U.S. TV anchor continued unfettered, and on Wednesday Hannity invited Assange to host his radio show. "My physical circumstances means that nothing is easy", Assange said, according to CNN.

"I'm looking into it", Mr Assange, 45, told United States broadcaster CNN on Wednesday.

The WikiLeaks founder says he is "looking into" filling in for Sean Hannity after the presenter offered him a one-off chance to host his conservative talk show. After Hannity saw his tweet, he made Assange an offer.

"Over 550 stations 14 Million listeners", Hannity tweeted at Dotcom, who called Hannity a "good man and truth-teller" in his own tweet.

Hannity, who once accused Assange of "waging war" against the USA, began praising him after WikiLeaks published emails from the Democratic National Committee and the chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, CNN noted. Ever since he began leaking classified government documents in 2010, Assange has continued to heavily influence the political process in the USA ever since.

Despite past claims that Assange was a danger to national security, Hannity has since embraced the Wikileaks founder after their famed document dump in 2016. On his television show Tuesday night, Hannity promised to keep looking into the debunked theory and said he'd have an announcement "sooner rather than later".

Hannity criticized Assange in 2010, but later praised him and traveled to London to interview him.
