An unknown elderly man was caught on video unplugging a bounce house with a dozen children, ages 2 and 3, playing inside. According to CBS 12, the party, which also included a DJ, was on May 21 and was hosted by the girl's mother, Deborah Romero.

The video shows children enjoying themselves in the bounce house, celebrating the one-year-old's birthday, when suddenly, the bounce house begins to lose air.

In surveillance footage from Romero's backyard, which was made public by Port St. Lucie police, parents can be seen racing to the bounce house to help free the children.

A neighborhood in Port St. Lucie is on the hunt for a man who ruined a little girl's birthday party last Sunday.

The suspect then walks away.

"We believe that he thinks he was pulling the plug to the DJ booth, but it didn't, it pulled the plug to the bounce house, " said Master Sgt.

"I gotta say this is very irresponsible for somebody to do that, " Sabol said.

The bounce house was eventually inflated after a few party guests noticed that it had been unplugged.

The man's wife told NBC News he is declining comment and has hired a lawyer to give police his side of the story.

"I was absolutely appalled that somebody would have the nerve", Hunt said.
