A New Jersey food company is recalling Aunt Jemima frozen pancakes, waffles and French toast over fears of listeria contamination.

The company said 18 products on USA shelves and one in Mexico would be recalled after tests found listeria in the frozen breakfasts foods.

According to Mayo Clinic, in healthy people, listeria may cause fever, nausea, muscle aches and diarrhea; however, it can be fatal for people with a weakened immune system.

Eighteen products were recalled in the US and one in Mexico.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.

The FDA advises people not to eat this food. The voluntary recall, which applies only to frozen products with "Best By" dates, does not include mixes or syrups. Pregnant women can suffer stillbirths or miscarriages in extreme cases. There has been no illness reported and Pinnacle Foods is working with the Food and Drug Administration to rectify the situation.

The products can be returned to the store they were sold for a refund. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
