BlackBerry Aurora comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with Dual LED flash.

Inside, there's a Snapdragon 425, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot up to 2TB, and a 3,000 mAh battery that the company says will provide over 20 hours of battery life.

The phone will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat, and you can choose from black, silver, or gold color variants.

Hot on the heels of BlackBerry KEYone's announcement at MWC 2017, the company has unveiled a new smartphone in Indonesia dubbed "Aurora". The 3000mAh Li-ion battery should keep the handset charged for a fair amount of time, and of course, the phone comes with all your other standard features like 4G LTE connectivity, dual-SIM cards support, a MicroUSB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Alex Thurber, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobility Solutions for BlackBerry said in a statement - "We sincerely congratulate BB Merah Putih on the new BlackBerry Aurora, the latest device launched under our software licensing strategy and new model for delivering the "smart" in the smartphone".

The BlackBerry Aurora is now official. BlackBerry Aurora comes as a result of the partnership between BB Merah Putih and BlackBerry, formed in September past year, which allows the former to manufacture and sell BlackBerry branded devices in Indonesia.

The smartphone was announced with a price tag of IDR 3,499,000 ($260) which is roughly about Rs 18,000. Other features include preloaded BlackBerry Hub that gives a unified messaging inbox and DTEK by BlackBerry that offers more privacy and security.

BlackBerry signed a deal to make TCL its exclusive hardware partner in most of the world. Indonesia is one of BlackBerry's biggest markets-it was selling classic BB OS devices in Indonesia long after demand had died down in the rest of the world. The smartphone is said to be BlackBerry's last in-house developed smartphone.

BlackBerry Aurora features a 5.5 inch HD ( 720 x 1280 pixels) IPS Display. For graphics, it comes with Adreno 308 GPU.

BlackBerry hasn't confirmed an exact date in April for the launch just yet, so you've still got a few weeks to save up your pennies for the new device.
