Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer "War" has crossed the ₹200 crore-mark at the box office in its first week, the makers announced on Thursday.

"Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures and wrote, "#War [#Hindi] Wed 51.60 cr, Thursday 23.10 cr, Friday 21.30 cr, Sat 27.60 cr, Sun 36.10 cr, Monday 20.60 cr, Tue 27.75 cr, Wed 11.20 cr. Some analysts have predicted that War's lifetime collections will easily cross Rs 300 crore with double digit figures rolling in even on a weekday. Besides recording some of the highest numbers we have seen in 2019, the film has not been able to surpass Salman Khan's long-standing record first-week record set by his sports flick "Sultan". Additionally, the film will enjoy more footfall in the upcoming weeks until the release of Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 hit the screens on October 25.

In terms of worldwide collection, War has minted Rs 307.78 crore, including Rs 216.65 crore in India.

The film is also the highest opening film for Hrithik while it is second highest for Tiger. It collected Rs 51.60 crore in Hindi version and Rs 53.35 crore in all languages on the day of its release. The film has earned Rs 11.20 crore on Wednesday, taking the total collection to Rs 228.55 crore.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, War movie is about a special agent Kabir (played by Hrithik Roshan) who has gone rogue and his student, Khalid (played by Tiger Shroff) is entrusted to take him down. The film also stars Ashutosh Rana, Vaani Kapoor and Anupriya Goenka. We are all delighted that "War" has done just that and is getting incredible love and appreciation from audiences across the world.
