Variety reports that Oscar-nominee Hailee Steinfeld has been offered the role of Bishop on the upcoming Disney+ series. Jeremy Renner, who recently lost his official app to mischievous internet trolls (the fun kind), will reprise the title role from the MCU, while Steinfeld will take on the lead role of Kate Bishop - thus validating all that pre-Endgame speculation. In the following series, Barton played by Renner, will now be seen training young Bishop to take on his mantel. The character's also shaping up to do so in the Hawkeye MCU series, which is slated for a Fall 2021 release date.

A new member is ready to join the Avengers family. It is expected that the role will go beyond this series, whether it be her own solo series on the streaming service, and/or appearances in the bigger films to come.

Steinfeld starred as Charlie in Paramount's Bumblebee spinoff in late 2018.

Disney is creating a number of restricted collection that includes characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and WandaVision being two of the exhibits in growth.

It's Marvel's most critically acclaimed comic in recent memory! We still don't know who will be playing the other Hawkeye but if Marvel Studios has their way, they would get Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse star Hailee Steinfeld. If you want to see more of Hailee Steinfeld, she'll next appear in Netflix's Between Two Ferns: The Movie, which drops on September 20, 2019. She will also star in the upcoming Apple series "Dickinson", in which she will play the famous 19th century poet Emily Dickinson.
