Well, there were quite a few rumors that it could be OnePlus 7 but it didn't materialize and soon after OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro was released with a different but radical design, people did forget about this leaked image posted below. The India launch date of the device appears to fall on September 26.

As a point of reference, the existing OnePlus 7 mats a main 48-megapixel rear camera with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens (in addition to a 16-megapixel on the front of the phone).

It is now unknown which smartphone is Lau holding in the image. The presentation on the TV shows a red coloured OnePlus device that has a circular camera module. The report claims that the upcoming smartphone could have improved camera compared to its predecessors.

All the way back in December of 2018, prominent leaker Ishan Agarwal tweeted out a photo from a OnePlus meeting.

The image also featured the same camera hump. It is interesting to see that these renders actually validate an older leak which said that the design will be adopted in the next OnePlus phone.

What do you think of the new circular camera bump?

Another renowned leaker, Max J. aka @Samsung_News has come up with a new render of an upcoming OnePlus smartphone which is also being considered as the OnePlus 7T. The leaked image came out before the OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 were officially unveiled.

OnePlus won't be the only handset vendor going for round camera modules, with Huawei's Mate 30 Pro also expected to feature a similar setup. If reports are to believed, OnePlus 7T may be coming out next month.

OnePlus typically releases two flagship smartphones ever year - last year these were called the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T respectively.

Turns out there could be more to the story than just a leak.

There are no other specifications of the OnePlus 7T Pro available as yet.
