Left-Handers Day brings awareness to "advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed"

The campaign has witnessed participation of Hindu, Muslim and Christian communities who have cited their religious scriptures to establish that right and left handers are equal and deserve equal rights. "For the last 15 years, we have supported left-handers by stocking the largest range of left-handed guitars in the United Kingdom, but we want to do more".

Raising your left hand and being proud. Today is a day that celebrates them.

Celebrating their uniqueness, a day dedicated specifically for these people is celebrated every year on 13 August. The day was first celebrated in 1976 by Dean R. Campbell, founder of Lefthand International.

According to a study at St. Lawrence University in NY, the IQ level for those using the left hand is more than 140 compared to those who use the right hand.

The lefties were even accused of witchcraft in the 1600s for just using one hand more than the other.

The Left Handers Club, believe Left-handers are generally more intelligent, better looking, imaginative and multi-talented than right-handers.

In terms of making money and spending it, even left-handed people live ahead of the right-handed people.
