Maura will have the chance to choose Curtis as it is revealed the girls hold the power of who stays and who goes in the recoupling tonight.

Having now arrived back in the UK, Amy has returned to social media with a message for her fans.

While the Instagram message was left on "seen", Maura failed to reply or even acknowledge the saucy message sent November previous year. He assumed she wasn't interested.

The semi-professional footballer was booted out of the show in a dramatic recoupling during Thursday night's (11.07.19) show. Francesca describes herself as bubbly and positive and wants to get to know hunky gym owner Anton, with their odds set at 33/1 should his head be turned away from Belle.

LOVE Island's Maura Higgins is left gutted in tonight's show.

On her decision to leave, Amy said: "It was a scary decision to make but the outpouring of love has confirmed what I already knew, it was the right one".

The Irish contestant looked infuriated after losing out on her preferred pairing.

However moments after being picked by Francesca, Curtis took disheartened Maura aside and reassured her that the "door wasn't closed" on a potential relationship.

Curtis and Amy had been in a couple since the start of the series, but last week he ended things with Amy, who has now left the villa.

"I left on good terms with everyone and have nothing but incredible things to say about the show, the production team and if you read anything to the contrary, don't believe it!"

The stunning ring girl broke down in tears after the dumping, admitting she felt bad Marvin had been dumped, and undoubtedly feeling heartbroken about Curtis.

Last night, viewers watched Maura lock lips with Curtis during a raunchy lapdance, just hours after Amy chose to leave the villa as she struggled to cope with her heartbreak.
