It supports Bluetooth 4.2, but more importantly the certification signals that we should be hearing more about the OnePlus TV soon. Despite these claim, it seems that the OnePlus TV will in fact ship with a remote control.

Update, September 17, 2018 (02:20PM EST): Word broke earlier today that OnePlus plans to bring a OnePlus-branded television to market in 2019. Thanks to All About OnePlus, a OnePlus remote control that has a model number of RC-001A has been spotted on the database of Bluetooth SIG certification body. No specific launch date has been tied to the OneplusTV. This Bluetooth-powered device is likely to be the remote that comes with the OnePlus smart TV. Now, via an interview with Pete Lau conducted by PCMag, we have some more information ...

Oneplus has yet to delve into official details of the OneplusTV, but it did reveal earlier this year that the TV lineup is going all-in on smart features and that the OnePlus TV will be capable of doing numerous things you'd typically rely on your phone for. Our guess is that OnePlus will be pricing its premium TVs near to Xiaomi's top-end models on debut which is between the Rs 40,000-Rs 50,000 bracket. The spotting of OnePlus remote control is big hint that the arrival of OnePlus TV is close at hand. From this description, we assume the TV will be based on Android and come with Google Assistant baked-in - nearly like a Google Nest Hub, but the size of a television.

Prices of the product are also unknown right now. Let us know in the comments!
