"The manager stood behind me while I pulled the images off the Internet", Walker said to USA Today.

"I think they just misheard my mama when she ordered the cake, she has kind of an accent with us being from the south", Davis told via Facebook messenger.

"They requested a cake decorated with the Disney Hawaiian princess, but got one with a marijuana leaf, green icing and a stoned 'My Little Pony" character! Dairy Queen, the shop employee heard "marijuana" instead.

Walker said she fired from Dairy Queen on Monday, which was her birthday.

"It's not amusing to me", Walker said to USA TODAY. "This is back-to-school time".

I haven't had a chance to tell y'all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake.

"I guess when they said that I love cartoons, they were like, 'Let's throw a little pony on there.' So they put a little pony on there". I have a auto that needs fixing.

- The amusing "Moana" marijuana cake mix-up that went viral earlier this week didn't leave everyone laughing. "But the first one was so good we weren't anxious about it", Davis said.

Dairy Queen co-owner Al Autry acknowledged the mix-up in a statement to USA Today but did not confirm or deny Walker's termination. "The customer said it was fine, paid for the cake and left".

Davis told CNN that her mom's reaction was priceless: "She was hysterically laughing".

Davis' mom says workers were apologetic and offered to make another cake. "We thought it was the funniest thing that could have happened and we knew it would be a birthday to remember".
