Of course, Drake will be headlining the festival at Toronto's Budweiser Stage on Monday, August 5th.

This year's edition will include an OVO Summit on August 2 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the OVO Bounce basketball tournament from July 29 to August 2 at the University of Toronto's Goldring Centre. The OVO Summit will be held on August 2nd, then August 4th welcomes a string of other rappers including B2K, Mario, Pretty Ricky, Chingy, and more.

In 2010, Drake hosted the first annual OVO Fest in Toronto, and for years after that, it went along swimmingly. Every year, Drake takes over a Toronto arena and brings out a dizzying array of surprise guests. Anyone who has attended the previous eight OVO Fests knows that Drake has a habit of bringing out plenty of special guests during the show.

He released two songs last month after the Toronto Raptors won the NBA Championship, Omerta, and Money in the Grave featuring Rick Ross.

On the music front, night one at Budweiser Stage on August 4 will feature early-aughts acts, including B2K, Pretty Ricky and the Ying Yang Twins. Drake has also used his Instagram to hint that he is in the studio working on a new album, so it will be interesting to see if it drops before the festival.

During his last OVO Fest in 2017, the rapper performed on a replica of the CN Tower. Tickets for the fest are set to go on sale starting on Friday, July 12.
