On August 30, Justin Vernon and Bon Iver will release a new record titled i, i - the follow-up to 2016's 22, A Million.

The title of the record can mean whatever it means to you or me.

We've already been blessed with two tracks from i, i, which have been played over and over in my office/my headphones since they dropped, and now we're being treated to another duo of tracks; 'Jelmore' and 'Faith'.

Recording over a long time at April Base in Wisconsin but finishing at Sonic Ranch in Texas allowed us to feel confident, comfortable, and completely free of distraction. Whilst other tracks on the album are set to feature James Blake, Aaron Dessner, Bruce Hornsby, and Velvet Negroni.

Bon Iver will also embark on a headlining tour to promote the LP. "And then you can put that perspective into more honest, generous work". The list of opening acts at different dates is pretty great: Feist, Yo La Tengo, Sharon Van Etten, and the Indigo Girls.
