Ghanaian winger, Albert Adomah has joined Nottingham Forest on a two-year-deal after the winger was released by Aston Villa following their promotion to the Premier League.

He joined the Midlands club in 2016 and went on to make 116 league appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals.

However despite being an important player in Dean Smith's promotion winning side last season they opted to release him ahead of their Premier League return and he has now been provided with the chance to test himself once again in the Championship.

Adomah will be an astute signing for Forest, who finished the past Championship season in ninth position.

Adomah featured 42 times in all competitions last season, starting Villa's play-off final triumph against Derby County, and now joins Lamouchi's Reds for the upcoming campaign.

In 2017-2018, the ex-Barnet and Bristol City forward demonstrated the maximum performance in Aston Villa. In that club, he scored up to 15 goals.

"Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce the signing of winger Albert Adomah", Forest announced on their official website. Additionally, Martin O'Neill had Sammy Ameobi signed prior to the ex-manager was sacked in June in favor of Sabri Lamouchi.
