The Eastern Conference has undergone quite the makeover in the past two weeks. Roughly about a week ago, the 2019 NBA Free Agency period opened up with a bang. From a pure talent perspective, the Sixers should absolutely be Eastern Conference favorites.

We're still firmly in the National Basketball Association offseason, but that hasn't stopped fans and even players from thinking about next season, including the Philadelphia 76ers' James Ennis III who has a bold prediction for the 2019-20 season. In his redshirt senior season, Scott averaged a team-high 18.0 points per game as he helped the Cavaliers to a 22-win season and No. 10 seed in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

Al Horford has signed for the Philadelphia 76ers, who also officially confirmed Tobias Harris will be remaining with the franchise.

"The East is going to (be) wide open", Ennis said per Pompey. The Sixers' reserve wing believes his team is "going to walk to the Finals in the East".

"We're excited to welcome one of the NBA's best frontcourt players in Al Horford to Philadelphia", Sixers general manager Elton Brand said in a statement. Kawhi is gone. He went to the West. As we know, it takes time for deals to go through in the National Basketball Association fully, and the wait causes a bit of a suspense. and although it's rare, sometimes players can back out of their initial agreements after thinking long and hard about the move.

It's a bold take from the 76ers role player.

But any expectation that Philadelphia stands truly apart from their in-conference competition conveniently ignores both the existence of the Milwaukee Bucks, as well as many questions the team must answer before reaching its potential.
