Suspect hiding from cops passes gas so loudly it gives him away

As the Clay County Sheriff's Office explained it, police had a felony arrest warrant for an individual and were on the hunt for him over the weekend.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office posted a picture of deputies searching for the suspect in question, along with a warning.

The sheriff's office also gave "props" to Liberty Police for "using their senses to sniff him out!"

Police department issued an arrest warrant against the person for possession of controlled substance, reports Fox News.

News of the freakish situation made its way to Missouri's Clay County Sheriffs Department, who took to Twitter to make light of the situation. She is an MSt candidate at the University of Cambridge and lives in Kansas City. The person was wanted for possession of a controlled substance.

No one was injured in the arrest.

The suspect's identity was not released by police.

It's not the first time surprise flatulence has sparked trouble.

His fart was so loud that officers were able to find where he was hiding and he was taken into custody. Walker said he was left "in fear that he was going to be stabbed by the defendant", the affidavit said, first reported by the Miami Herald newspaper.
