Nintendo Switch Online adds two games and a rewind feature

Nintendo reminds us that the service is now over 40 games strong.

The monthly games added to the Switch NES library in July are Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecking Crew. The latest releases, Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecking Crew, will also be added to the service on July 17th. Bungle a segment or will you just attempt again? The Rewind feature should serve to get you back in the game faster, giving you the opportunity to right a wrong or test out some different strategies in your favorite NES titles. Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecker's Crew should be available if you have an active subscription and the game software installed. However, the Rewind feature is different in that it will let you rewind to whatever point you want to rewind to, rather than having to choose from one of your Save States, of which you are given a limited number of. There's also a family membership option available, which allows up to eight Nintendo accounts in a family group to use Nintendo Switch Online.

Nintendo reveled today the new games that will be given out for free to those subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online service. This time around, players take control of a bug exterminator named Stanley, as he sprays insects and protects his greenhouse.

Nintendo Switch Online allows players to engage in competitive or cooperative gameplay with people around the world in many current and upcoming games like Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Party and Super Smash Bros.

On Wednesday, July 17, these two titles will join the ever-growing list of NES Classics that saw Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Volleyball, and City Connection added last month.
