A woman is accused of fatally stabbing her identical twin sister inside their Camden, New Jersey, apartment early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

Amanda Ramirez, 27, was charged with aggravated manslaughter for the fatal stabbing of her sister Anna Ramirez at about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday in the Centennial Village Apartments, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

That same day, police arrested Amanda Ramirez, Anna's identical twin sister, who they claimed was responsible for the slaying. She was taken to a hospital, where she died shortly after.

"Anna had a special bond with her grandparents and enjoyed family dinners and weekly time hanging out with her sisters", the memorial said.

Anna Ramirez's funeral is set to be held on Friday.

An online obituary for Anna Ramirez said she was a nursing assistant who had worked for years in the medical field.

Officials announced Amanda's arrest Monday but have not released details surrounding a possible motive. She is awaiting a pretrial hearing to determine whether she will be allowed to post bond.
