Samsung launched a version of this giant display called The Wall Professional last June. The Wall Luxury, that measures up to 292 inches, was unveiled at the InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, Florida. On paper, Samsung says that The Wall is created to never turn off, and can stretch from ratios of 73-inches in 2K, all the way to a whopping 292-inches in 8K resolution. Like its commercial-centric brother, it sounds like The Wall Luxury can be expanded by adding additional MicroLED segments. Samsung doesn't say how much The Wall Luxury will cost, but it is unquestionably outside the price range of average consumers. The self-emitting MicroLEDs have a 100,000-hour lifetime, Samsung claims.

The Wall Luxury will be available in a variety of sizes, ratios and customizable configurations, starting from 73-inch in 2K resolution to 292-inch in 8K resolution next month. All versions have a depth of less than 30mm and a slim, bezel-less design.

Created to stay on permanently, either performing TV functions or occupying an Ambient Mode for displaying art or photos, The Wall Luxury's MicroLED self-emitting diodes have a lifetime of 100,000 hours (just over 11 years, then).

According to Samsung, The Wall Luxury will be equipped with an AI picture quality engine, known as Quantum Processor Flex, which will use AI upscaling and machine learning to optimize picture quality on a scene-by-scene basis. It also has Quantum HDR technology and a 120Hz refresh rate, allowing it to provide a richer movie viewing experience.

Additionally, Samsung worked with Harman Luxury Audio and Steinway Lyngdorf to offer unmatched audio solutions; Control4, Crestron, and Savant for home automation; and Domotz, Ihiji, and OrvC for remote monitoring capabilities.
