The Witcher 3 Comes To Switch This Year

Nintendo must be performing some sort of dark arts ritual with developers CD Projekt Red, as, somehow, The Witcher 3 really is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The Complete Edition will include the two story DLCs, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, and 16 other free DLCs. CD Projekt Red say that's over 150 hours of gameplay that you can now take with you on the go. With its mature content, The Witcher 3 is not exactly a natural fit with the Switch's younger-skewing, family-friendly audience, but it's not the first mature-themed game for Switch.

Given the Switch's less powerful hardware in comparison to its Xbox and PlayStation-branded competitors, there are some modern games that we wouldn't expect to receive Switch ports.

They look great if you ask me.

The game will be getting a special physical release, including a game compendium, map, and some stickers.

Announced during the company's E3 2019 livestream, the epic adventure that wowed on home consoles and PC is coming to the hybrid handheld.
