Joey Logano won the pole in qualifying and then led for more than three-quarters of the actual race.

And Kurt Busch said he thought Logano jumped the restart too, but he also admitted it's exactly what he would have done on a final restart too. As he spun on the apron and back onto the race track, the caution was thrown. Team Penske had all three cars finish in the top-10 for the second time... The previous mark of 162 was set in 1989 by Rusty Wallace - although Logano's race was extended by the overtime.

Busch tried his best, but he wasn't able to do anything with Logano over the final lap and a half as the driver of the No. 22 Team Penske Ford Mustang earned his second victory of the season.

Joey Logano won his second NASCAR Cup Series race of the season, holding off Kurt Busch and Martin Truex Jr.in overtime.

Did other drivers have an issue with the final restart?

Logano and Truex were up front on the restart, along with Kurt and Kyle Busch, and Logano pulled ahead and held on.

Truex Jr. did admit that his second gear was a bit off during restarts throughout the race, and he also stated that he didn't know if he would have had anything for Logano anyway given how dominant Logano was all race, but not without making another claim that Logano effectively cheated to win.

"Logano's auto was tough". I was going to push Truex right through the #22. Logano said. "But the race fan part of me is like, 'Heck yeah". That's what changed the complexion of the race. "That's what I would have done if I was in his position".

Martin Truex Jr lost a spot in the final laps of the race. He came home 3rd to Logano. "This is going to be a great race for everyone to watch"'. I thought we'd rack them up there, you know green-white-checkered. "He thinks his way through a lot of situations, and I think the more information you give him at that point - that was where I got to, was OK, let's give him all the information we can so he can make good decisions about he wants to handle this last restart". Truex, who finished third, accused Logano of jumping "a whole vehicle length before the restart zone" as the field took the final green. I don't know how you get away with that.

"We had a solid race auto". "You just can't hold it wide open". You get a run on somebody and you can't make a complete pass and by the time you get to the next corner you have been passed by four. "It's frustrating at times".

Martin Truex Jr was later asked again about the final restart by Claire B Lang.

"He just went way early".

"I don't know what I did".

"That's the way it goes". They didn't call it and he wins. Our race vehicle was obviously very fast, our pit crew was unbelievable.

Well, they were able to run Logano down, but they weren't able to do anything once they got there. I hit it when I got there. That was a good start though wasn't it? It was a good one. "That one felt good", Logano says with a smile.
