Blues to face Southampton as opening day fixtures are leaked Read Chelsea

Fans will be able to find out if the leaked opening day fixtures are correct when the Premier League publish their full fixture list at 9am on Thursday.

A screenshot seen by on Twitter appear to reveal the first round of fixtures ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

At this stage, these fixtures are unverified and could well change when an official announcement is made.

Liverpool and Europa League winners Chelsea, minus Eden Hazard who has joined Real Madrid, have a busy start to the campaign as they will also meet in the Uefa Super Cup in Istanbul, Turkey on Wednesday, 14 August.

Five-time Premier League champions Chelsea could be kicking off their season with a trip to St Mary's as they will reportedly be facing Ralph Hasenhuttl's Southampton side.

Manchester United will be starting their season with a home match against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, 11th August while champions Manchester City will play their first match on Monday, 12th August with a trip to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The new campaign will kickoff a week after the Community Shield pitting Man City and Liverpool at Wembley Stadium.
