Auburn started so fast Monday that it all but secured a trip to the College World Series before North Carolina ever sent a batter to the plate. The 73rd MCWS will take place at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, June 15-25/26.

All games of the College World Series will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.

On Sunday, June 16 action features No. 2 national seed Vanderbilt (54-11) vs. MI and Texas Tech will play the early game Saturday at 1 p.m.

The second four-team bracket will play Sunday in Omaha, beginning with a 1 p.m. game between Vanderbilt and Louisville.

Arkansas will face Florida State on Saturday (June 15) in game two of the tournament and of the day with first pitch set for 6 p.m. with a national broadcast set for ESPN. The second game is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT) Tuesday, June 25 with game three (if necessary) scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT) Wednesday, June 26. It took nearly three more hours before Auburn could finally celebrate, though, with the Tigers sprinting from the dugout at the final out and flinging water in the air before a meet-in-the-infield pileup.
