Though most people associate the exquisite Aston Martin DB5 with classic Bond films, the change in actors also brought a change in Astons, specifically the 1969 DBS. Aston Martin is even in the process of building exact replicas of this early movie auto, complete with spy gadgets. After a tasteful ceremony in Portugal, the two of you climb aboard your wedding flower-adorned 1969 Aston Martin DBS and drive away as friends and family toss rose petals and see you off into married life. The new, special-edition DBS is styled to recreate the look of the 1969 Aston Martin DBS that Bond (played by George Lazenby) drove in On Her Majesty's Secret Service To that end, it's painted olive green on the outside, with chrome horizontal grille strakes. She is shot while sitting in the DBS. Aston Martin on Tuesday announced the On Her Majesty's Secret Service DBS Superleggera, paying homage to the 50th anniversary of the film of the same name. The auto also dons exposed carbon fiber aero parts, a unique wheel design, and a unique version of the DBS grillle with six bright horizontal strips. "The DBS Superleggera is a muscular auto that commands attention, but the Olive Green gives it a subtlety that belies the beast beneath", said Marek Reichman, vice president and chief creative officer for Aston Martin.

Inside, there's pure black leather with grey Alcantara accents, again a nod to the original movie auto, and red accents throughout the cabin - said to be inspired by the red-trimmed glovebox in the original vehicle that held 007's telescopic sight rifle. There are also a few red touches, which were inspired by the red glovebox in the movie vehicle. It's where Bond stored his telescopic-sight rifle.

The special edition is just an appearance package - no ejection seats here - but the Superleggera already boasts no less than 715 horsepower (533 kilowatts) from its 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12. The steering wheel is carbon fiber covered with leather, while the shift paddles are also carbon with red inlays. The 2019 DBS Superleggera is chosen to carry on the Bond theme, with just 50 planned for production. Pricing is set at 300,007 British pounds (approximately $381,600) and it isn't clear if any of the cars will be allocated for customers in the United States.
