Guide to Glorious GoodWood 2019

The Goodwood festival slowly approaching with its start date on the 30th of July – its only right to have a guide and recap on what’s going to take place at this stunning festival. With the Goodwood event there are multiple hospitality packages to choose from depending on your budget, of course. No matter your budget, you will have such a unique and spectacular   time with three or four course meal or buffet prepared by well renowned chefs that have perfected their dishes for this event in particular.

 

Depending on the package you come to choose, here is a package guide – just so you know what they contain and a bit more information regarding the packages. There are three packages as it stands:

 

Final Furlong Restaurant – The venue is held in a stunning white linen style tent as you watch the racing, not only does this package come with your race card but the ability to watch the event on a TV just in case the heat is too much. This package also includes a Three course table buffet, and a complimentary bar which has wines, beer and soft drinks. On arrival you have a glass of prosecco on arrival – not only that, you also get a car parking label then it’s usually getting your parking number and parking in your designated number. This package starts at £185 per person, plus VAT.

 

Charlton Hunt Restaurant – Much like the Furlong Restaurant, but different surroundings as you’re not in a open glass window style restaurant as you will be able to see the race right from your seat, depending on where your table is, and if you have purchased a balcony. This package is popular for small groups as the restaurant seats less than others. A four-course meal and afternoon tea is included plus the complimentary bar. Most of the packages are the same, just different food and settings.

 

The Secret Garden – An award-winning English experience with beautiful visuals as the venue is bedecked with wild, vibrant flowers that are great for a group selfie, right? The package includes a three-course chef’s table, afternoon tea with fluffy cakes and appetisers. Complimentary wines, beer and soft drinks – what could be more truly to our English heritage and the number one English experience. Free parking and admission to the stunning Richmond enclosure where you’re in the middle of the event, being able to see the jockeys and horses. This package starts at £468 (adult) per person, plus VAT.

 

Not only is the event best for betting and gambling on the odds of some of the fastest race horses in the world, but for Goodwood festival at Timeform, they will show you the odds on all the horses and races and give you information on how to bet and be prepared before the event starts. This event is truly something spectacular with its stunning dresses to the hats that always turn an eye. Whatever package you pick, they all have their own unique setting when It comes to foods and location.
