Taylor Swift announces new single 'Me!'

Later, Swift joined Robin Roberts live from Nashville during ABC's coverage of the first round of the National Football League draft where she confirmed the new song and music video will be released at midnight.

And on her way to the butterfly mural, Swift confirmed new music while she was talking about the commissioned painting.

Earlier Thursday, Swift did just that when she popped by the Gulch area to take photos at a mural in Nashville painted by artist Kelsey Montague - and give fans yet another clue. "The song is called 'ME!,' like in all caps with an exclamation point, and it's featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco". "In other exciting news, the VIDEO will be out then too and I can't wait to watch live with you", Taylor Swift revealed on Instagram, just minutes after she told Good Morning America that Brendon Urie, 32, of Panic! "So it's the fans", she added.

Swift's last album was Reputation, released in 2017.

As for the people who have made Swift feel better about herself over the years, the artist once again paid tribute to her fans, sharing, "I can not believe how dedicated they are, how thoughtful".

Signing autographs and posing for selfies with her fans after her arrival, Swift commended her Swifties for realizing she was going to be making a visit.

"You guys are wonderful for figuring this out because no one knew we were coming".

At the event, she actually addressed fans and praised them for figuring it all out before revealing that another clue is coming later tonight. "You're the best. I love you so much".
