The OTA update measures 3.11GB and it might take more than 20 minutes to install fully. Going by the changelog, Vivo states that the update brings New UI Design to the table compared to the older version of FunTouch OS.

A month ago, Vivo rolled out Android Pie to its 2018 flagship, the NEX S. Additionally, the new Shortcuts Center, which can be used to automate multiple actions into a single workflow (similar to Tasker or iOS Shortcuts), is now available on the V11 Pro.

To recall, the handset was launched in September a year ago and comes with a price tag of Rs 25,990.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo V11 Pro features a 6.41-inch Full HD+ Halo FullView display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with Adreno 512 GPU. The dual-SIM handset offers 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

For optics, the Vivo V11 Pro is loaded with dual rear cameras with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera with f/2.4 aperture coupled with LED flash.

Aforesaid, the latest update is also based on FunTouch OS which is Vivo's in-house Android skin, but the major change is it's now built on top of Android 9 Pie. For the front, there is a 25-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Since the V11 Pro nearly leans into the premium segment in the country, it has been among the company's top priorities for an Android 9.0 Pie update. It also comes with a host of other camera features such as Pro mode, Slow motion video recording, Live Bokeh, filters, AI backlight HDR, AI face shaping and much more. Colour options include Dazzling Gold and Starry Night.
