WhatsApp previewed new features on it latest 2.19.106 beta version on Android which has doodle feature with dedicated UI.

Basically, this means that if you enable fingerprint or face recognition security (you won't be able to launch WhatsApp without scanning your finger or face), screenshots are blocked as well on your device.

Instant messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly working on rolling out animated stickers to its platform. While GIFs play only for its duration and then need to be tapped on again to be played, stickers continue to animate without you needing to play them. He says that WhatsApp will introduce the feature in the future updates. The doodle feature also includes search support to make it easier for users to find stickers or emojis. WhatsApp offers 13 sets of Stickers including the pre-installed ones - Cuppy, Merry and Bright, Salty, Komo, Bibimbap Friends, Unchi & Rollie, Shiba Inu, The Maladroits, Koko, Hatch, Fearless and Fabulous, Banana and Biscuit. This feature is now being tested on Android, iOS and the Web app.

Notably, animated sticker is not the only feature that the company is working on lately.

WhatsApp will soon get a new feature that will allow users to block conversation screenshots on their devices.

A similar feature is also available in WhatsApp's rival Telegram as part of secret chats, only that in this case all participants in a conversation are blocked from taking a screen capture. The good news is that users will be able to respond to messages from notifications and answer calls on WhatsApp when the app is locked and the authentication feature has been enabled.
