Easter Egg Hunt and Bunny Run this Saturday in Apple Valley

The hunt began during Holy Week with a dozen eggs being hidden around the city. Separate awards will be given for men, women and children in different age groups.

Farm Hill Methodist Church is holding an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at noon at 1251 Muscogee Road.

The city-wide Easter Egg Hunt in Marquette was such a hit they're adding bonus eggs.

A lot of work goes into preparing for an egg hunt, and it takes some egg-stra help to pull it off.

The Easter bunny is no stranger to early mornings, as the doors open at 10:30 am for this event.

Those who have correctly counted all of them are entered into a draw for the giant chocolate bunny which will be drawn later in the day. There will be bunny bites, face painting, games, music, and Easter items for the kids to take home.

This Sunday, skiers, snowboarders and walkers have their pick of trails while searching for 5,000 eggs. Whoever is lucky enough to nab the golden egg will receive a 2019-20 season pass for a child. Egg drops will happen at 11:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 12:30 p.m., and 12:50 p.m.

Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Molino will host a Community Easter Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. on Easter Sunday.

There's no need to worry about wet candy. There may also be something special in store for whoever finds a golden egg.
