Inter 'Open Talks' With Tottenham Over Ambitious Move for Christian Eriksen

Manchester United are prepared to treble Christian Eriksen's wages at Tottenham Hotspur if the Denmark worldwide chooses to move to Old Trafford.

Inter have opened talks with Tottenham regarding an audacious £130m summer swoop for Eriksen, says Tuttosport.

Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are said to be interested in Eriksen.

Common sense would also suggest that if Eriksen is determined to leave Spurs, the north London club would prefer to sell him to one of the La Liga giants instead of a direct competitor in the Premier League.

Inter are desperate to close the gap to Juventus and Napoli next season after sitting miles adrift in third in the Serie A standings for much of the season.

Manchester United is set to outbid Real Madrid in the race to sign a Premier League star ahead of the coming season.

If Tottenham feel there is no way of keeping their midfield ace, perhaps that should prompt Spurs to explore the possibility of a swap deal involving the two players.

Eriksen is likely to be available for around £130million, while Pogba could easily cost in excess of £150m this summer despite his patchy form.

The Danish star has also scored twice in Tottenham's Champions League campaign.
