That said, the general interface and racetracks do seem to resemble Asphalt games, so we'll need some hands-on time with the game before passing judgment. Xbox has just announced that Forza Street is available on Windows 10 today, and that it'll come to Android and iOS later in the year.

While the main Forza Motorsport game series for Xbox and PC platforms are for racing sim fans, it looks like Forza Street is made for casual gamers who want a more arcade experience. Enter Forza Street, a timing-based, simplistic reskin of previous Microsoft-published game Miami Street.

"Forza Street is an all-new Forza experience created to be played anytime, anywhere, and excite anyone who loves cars", Forza Design Director Andy Beaudoin announced. Players will get access to both campaign gameplay and quick races, among other things.

According to Microsoft in Forza Street, players "can collect and assemble a legendary lineup of cars to compete in intense, cinematic races". Forza Street is far more palatable as an every-so-often distraction while you're watching TV or waiting in line than it is a sit-down-and-play desktop game.

Shorter races will clock in at around one minute, although there's also an "endless story" as well. Windows 10 PC owners can download the game from the Microsoft Store now, but it's unclear when, exactly, the title will arrive for iOS and Android.
