The comeback is complete.

Nike released a new ad starring Tiger Woods on Sunday after the golf legend won his fifth Masters tournament.

Earlier this week, I asked Tiger if he was surprised that he hadn't won a major in more than 10 years. In attendance to see his historic victory was his family, who proudly watched him from the 18th hole.

"As far as we can tell that is the biggest ever sports payout in our 85-year history".

Also in attendance was Tiger's mother, Tida, who was given a huge embrace by the newly-minted Masters champion.

As he made a safe bogey to win by one over a trio of young stars, he hugged almost everyone in his path, including his mother, daughter and son, hugs of joy and relief, his arms raised in stunning triumph.

Woods began the day two shots behind Italy's Francesco Molinari, and rode the roller coaster of a gripping final round to first share the lead after the Italian found the water in front of the short 12th.

Clinging to a two-stroke lead through 11 holes following a scrappy first nine Molinari was concerned his 9-iron at the 155-yard 12 hole could get caught by a gust.

Sunday's thrilling victory puts the former world No.1 just three majors behind the all-time record of Jack Nicklaus.

Back on August 13, 2018, Tiger opened as a co-favorite at 12/1 (+1200) odds (along with Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka, and Rory McIlroy) to win the tournament.
