The Islanders defeated the Penguins 3-1.

The Islanders have not only out-classed the Penguins in almost every area through three games, today's loss was so crushing in how there was just no fight, no pushback from the Penguins.

When the Penguins thought they had an advantage - following Garrett Wilson's goal 12:54 into the first period for a 1-0 lead - the Islanders answered right back. They work as a team, don't get frustrated, and stick to the plan.

If severe weather such as heavy rain, high winds or lighting would occur, the Penguins say they will take down the screen until the weather passes. NY now leads the series, 2-0, and the Islanders have, without question, been the better team in the series.

Sullivan should be the last person to be stunned by this.

Now, the Islanders' power play wasn't the most threatening in the regular season.

These constant breakdowns and Letang's been one of the biggest culprits, which is a major problem when he plays the minutes he does, has just reached the unbelievable stages. Jordan Eberle continued his productive postseason by scoring his third goal of the series on a lovely shot following a fantastic feed from Ryan Pulock.

The home crowd was silent, and then the anxiety grew 62 seconds later when Brock Nelson gave the Islanders a 2-1 lead.
