Arsenal are interested in signing in-form Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser this summer, with the Scotland worldwide winger's contract running down, according to The Mirror.

The Mirror are now reporting of a possible deal for Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser in the summer with news that the Cherries might look to cash in on him at the end of the season.

If they do not accept offers for him in the summer transfer window, they could risk losing him for free in 2020.

Fraser became a hot topic for the decision makers in north London as he will have just one year left on his contract this summer, and Arsenal's interest is causing problems for Bournemouth's hierarchy as they consider their options.

When asked about Arsenal's possible interest, he said, "I'm not going to lie, it's very nice. It means you are are doing something right", he told Sky Sports News recently.

He's also aware, however, that if no clubs come in for him at the end of the season that moving on a free transfer next year would likely be coupled with a large signing on fee.

That said, Arsenal look like in pole position to sign the Scotland International, and considering they might negotiate over the £30 million now suggested, Fraser could be a good deal for the Gunners, considering his age and experience in the Premier League.

"When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well".

Fraser has been at Bournemouth since 2013 after joining the club from Aberdeen in Scotland.

There is so much gossip that it is never easy to know what to believe or what to dismiss, however, for me, when a player speaks on the record or a club's representative or someone close, to the player then I will certainly give much more credence to that particular rumour and that is what is happening with Ryan Fraser.
