Sasha Banks Reportedly Wanted to Leave WWE During WrestleMania Weekend

We will keep you updated with any further information about Sasha Banks and her relationship with WWE.

It's been widely reported in recent days that Banks wanted to leave WWE after herself and Bayley lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania to The IIconics. That Fatal 4 Way saw The IIconics capture the titles by defeating Banks and Bayley, Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka, and Natalya and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix.

I was told that Banks has been vocal in the past about the creative direction but her unhappiness with the company has never been as bad as this week.

Banks was reportedly under the impression that WWE would be giving them a chance to have a strong run with the titles, to bring credibility to the new belts and to establish them as serious titles. The Boss was given a few weeks to think things over before making a decision.

WWE are hoping Banks can reconsider her decision but it does seem very similar to the position The Revival were in not too long ago, where it was reported they were unhappy. In January, the team expressed their frustration backstage and were asked to ride it out for a period of time and that things would improve for a while.

The biggest news coming out of WWE this week has been the future of Sasha Banks.

Banks also missed a scheduled appearance on the syndicated Wendy Williams Show this week, citing personal reasons. Hopefully the opportunity will be there again later.

On the April 8 episode of Monday Night RAW, Alexa Bliss took on Bayley one-on-one in a relatively short match. Banks, who is usually ringside when Bayley has a match, was not on the show that night.

Banks later tweeted a cryptic message during RAW, which you can read below.
